Elizabeth Hirst

Elizabeth Hirst has loved fantastic fiction since she first put pen to paper. She has worked as an animator, online game writer and founder of her own small publishing label, and during that time, representing the people, places and culture of Ontario has remained close to her heart. Her debut horror novel, The Face in the Marsh, is the story of a queer museum curator who must confront her own identity while battling a shapeless creature looking for a human face. She is a proud Editorial Assistant for Amazing Stories Magazine, and a graduate of the Odyssey Workshop, Class of 2006. Find her at the beach, the museum, or watching cartoons with her husband Robin. She can also be found on Twitter as @hirst_author or at http://elizabethhirstblog.wordpress.com.
