Rebecca Simkin is retired from the non-profit sector where she spent many years as a fundraiser. She has written several short and long works and is currently preparing to publish her first novel: A Glory All Her Own. She volunteers with the Sunburst Awards for Canadian Literature of the Fantastic and is also a member of the Writers Community of York Region, and Ink*Specs, a speculative fiction writers’ circle. Rebecca received a scholarship from the Writer’s Circle of Durham Region. She also writes non-fiction articles for a local community newspaper.
