  1. Why do certain villains, especially in comics, achieved cult-like popularity among fans? Why do we celebrate characters (like the Joker) who aren’t morally ambiguous, but morally reprehensible? Should we be drawing conclusions about society from this trend, or do people just like to root for the bad guy sometimes?
